This map design for Taidu Village reflects its role as a model for rural tourism development and rural revitalization in Ji County, one of Shanxi’s first counties to overcome poverty. Inspired by the classic Chinese painting “Along the River During the Qingming Festival” (清明上河图), the map uses detailed illustrations to accurately recreate the village’s real architecture and landscapes.
The map’s artistic style captures the essence of a modern rural utopia, highlighting the deep integration of cultural tourism and local development. It visually embodies the idea of creating a “Peach Blossom Spring”-like countryside retreat, promoting high-quality rural revitalization and setting a benchmark for rural development in Shanxi.
